Job Description
Womens Volleyball Graduate Assistant
This parttime position receives a stipend and graduation tuition waiver. Duties include assisting the Head Volleyball Coach with the coordination and preparation of the universitys volleyball team.
Candidates will be invited to demonstrate a willingness to support the Christian Catholic Benedictine mission of the University of Mary.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities Include:
- Assists with the recruitment of future UMary scholarathletes
- Assists with monitoring the academic progress of students
- Assists with planning practices and preparing for matches
- Assists with social media content
- Assists with organizing volleyball camps and clinics
- Performs other duties as assigned
Desired Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience include:
- Bachelors degree required
- Working knowledge of NCAA rules standards practices and procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills
- Upholds andsupports the Christian Catholic Benedictine mission of the University of Mary
- Supports the ongoing implementation of Ex Corde Ecclesiae the apostolic constitution on Catholic colleges and universities
- Builds a culture of ready and earnest hospitality inthe Office of Intercollegiate Athletics and throughout the university in accord with Saint Benedicts admonition that all be received as Christ
This position includes:

The University of Mary is a member of NCAA Division II and the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference and offers ten varsity sports for women and eight for men. UMary became an active member of the NCAA in 2007. The Marauders began competing in the NSIC in the fall of 2006.
