Job Description
Location Details: United States Remote
At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office fulltime others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days)and some work entirely remotely.
This is a remote position so youll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.
This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska Mississippi North Dakota or the Virgin Islands.
GoDaddy is not currently considering candidates for this role in California Seattle or NYC.

This is a newly created role that will work with tax leadership to develop a comprehensive tax strategy design and implement tax planning opportunities support diligence and structuring for M&A transactions monitor and advise on changes in tax law perform research and technical analysis manage taxdriven projects and provide provision and compliance support.
What youll get to do...
- Youll work closely with senior tax leadership to develop and implement tax strategies that align with our overall business objectives minimize tax liabilities and improve tax efficiencies
- Provide expert guidance on complex tax issues to senior management and other departments
- Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations assessing their impact on the company
- Assist with diligence and structuring for M&A transactions
Your experience should include...
- Bachelors degree in Accounting
- CPA certification
- 7 years of progressive experience in the tax field with a focus on tax planning and strategy
- Strong knowledge of federal state and international tax laws as well as US GAAP
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions tax planning
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines
You might also have...
- Masters degree in Taxation
- Experience in a Big 4 accounting firm
- Industryspecific tax expertise
- An advanced degree such as a JD or LLM in Taxation
- Knowledge of transfer pricing regulations and practices
- Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools
- Experience presenting to Clevel executives and board members
