The selected candidate will then take ownership of transforming the system block diagrams into detailed electrical schematics and creating the electrical BOM. These preliminary BOMs will be used for electrical costing in order to respond to customer RFQs. In addition to RFQ activities you will interface with the global product development teams (EE ME and SW) to assist in system bring up and interoperability troubleshooting efforts. The position requires understanding of the products from the system architecture level through component level design. The ideal candidate will have a broad background and understand product development from concept through development and into high volume production.
Responsibilities
Provide guidance and consultation to Application Engineers in regards to technical questions posed by customers.
Assist in creation of System Block Diagrams based off product requirements and/or information contained in customer RFQs.
Translate System Block Diagrams into Component Level Schematics in order to create an accurate BOM. These BOMs will be used in quoting efforts (to support RFQs).
Interface with R&D teams to keep abreast of the continuous evolution of key features such as capacitive touch motion sensing voice control and RFIC implementation.
Go to person to lead product/system level bringup troubleshooting
