The Columbus Family YMCA has served our community since 1892. We have experienced much growth and change throughout those years. Our organization made a major change in 2015 when we moved into the brandnew state of the art Columbus Wellness Center. The Columbus Fieldhouse opened in January 2024 and expanded our programs and services into more than 300000 square feet. This Fieldhouse and Wellness Center have expanded our opportunities for community impact.

The standard for excellence with this position topnotch customer service strong member relationships and community building member experience facility readiness and safety. Responsibilities include staff supervision and management facility operations and member experience. You will provide the right leadership/involvement for any member conflicts and discipline issues and much more. Working hard and going the extra mile will ensure that the details big and small are taken care of and delivered with pride and precision.

Here is a sampling of the Program responsibilities you would work with in this role:
- Facility supervision for daytoday readiness and operational safety
- Member relationships customer service
- Crowd and safety management
- Professionally handle conduct and behavior issues (primarily youth some adult issues)
- Lead manage and supervise a small building and member services staff
- Staff leadership
What we require and expect:
- Sufficient experience supervising and managing staff
- Sufficient experience in facility management
- Strong work ethic
- Dedication to the role: willing to put in hours as needed: 4050 hours plus extra during certain events; Will include evening and weekend hours

- High integrity coupled with a solid work history is essential
- Organization and communication skills to be able to manage and lead staff
- College degree preferred
- First aid and CPR certification within 30 days of hire
- Bilingual (Spanish) additional benefit
