Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Housekeeper to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness safety and comfort throughout the facility. CNA certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Clean resident rooms bathrooms and common areas following scheduled routines
- Disinfect surfaces vacuum mop dust and remove trash and laundry
- Restock and order cleaning supplies and maintain inventory
- Report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor
- Follow infection control guidelines and proper use of PPE
- Interact respectfully with residents maintaining dignity and privacy
- Provide light resident support or supervision if certified.
- Maintain a calm safe and clean environment
- Update the MSDS Book (Material Safety Data Sheet Book)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- CNA certification is preferred
- Experience in housekeeping (preferably in healthcare senior living or hospitality)
- Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
- Reliable teamoriented and compassionate
- Able to communicate clearly in English
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand walk bend and lift up to 30 lbs
- Knowledge using cleaning equipment and working with cleaning products
- Able to wear PPE and tolerate exposure to resident care environments
