What Youll Do:
- Ensures compliance with all Front Office and Housekeeping policies standards and procedures
- Oversee rooms and related area operations including front office guest services housekeeping to ensure a safe comfortable environment for guests
- Build and foster employees
- Observe room attendants or house attendants to ensure that their duties are completed in accordance with established policy and procedure proper communication with guests is utilized room assignments or house calls are handled both courteously and professionally and are answered on a timely basis guest complaints are handled in a courteous and professional manner
- Review daily arrivals to ensure proper handling of all incoming reservations and groups
- Develop and establish prearrival communication in advance
- Oversees inventory maintenance and control while purchasing inventory and remaining within budgeted guidelines
- Conduct performance evaluations and deliver coaching and counseling to employees when needed
- Oversee Front Office Guest Services and Housekeeping schedules action planning assignment of duties and developing and communicating departmental strategies and goals
- Establish and implement procedures to ensure guests receive prompt professional attention and personal recognition
- Schedule and regularly conduct routine inspections of the front office and public areas and guest rooms and corridors to ensure the appearance and cleanliness of such areas reflects highly on the hotel brand and Company
- Maintain procedures for security of monies credit and financial transactions guest security and inventory control
- Scheduled to serve as the MOD during specific shifts and be prepared to work night shifts when required
- Roll up your sleeves and be prepared to involve yourself in the daytoday operations adjusting your schedule if needed to provide support to all shifts.
- Hold yourself accountable and lead by example; showing integrity by always doing the right thing even when no one is looking.
- Provide leadership during a variety of shifts including days nights holidays and weekends.
- Lead & Support Housekeeping Management team by inspecting guest rooms public areas and back of house while providing exceptional levels of service.
- Inspire your team to care as much as you do and take every step necessary to ensure that they are equipped to deliver the perfect inroom experience for our guests and anticipate needs beyond the checklist.
- Ensure a profitable operation by keeping purchasing costs and labor expenses in check and will keep the entire operation running smoothly.
- Creating and reviewing schedules administeringpayroll and other administrative tasks
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least two yearsof Hotel Guest Services or Housekeeping management experience.
- A curious creative dynamic leader who is unsatisfied with the status quo.
- Passion for hospitality will be apparent just speaking with you naturally connecting with colleagues and guests.
