Job Description

Hi were Oscar. Were hiring a Sr. Manager E&B Proficiency to join our Eligibility & Billing team.

About the role

You will drive the strategy and implementation of the department specific programming. You will collaborate cross functionally leveraging data to make informed decisions.

You will report to the Director Senior Director Eligibility & Billing.

Work Location:

Oscar is a blended work culture where everyone regardless of work type or location feels connected to their teammates our culture and our mission.

If you live within commutable distance to our New York City office (in Hudson Square) our Tempe office (off the 101 at University Dr) or our Los Angeles office (in Marina Del Rey) you will be expected to come into the office at least two days each week. Otherwise this is a remote / workfromhome role.

Pay Transparency:

The base pay for this role in the states of California Connecticut New Jersey New York and Washington is: $131200 $172200 per year. The base pay for this role in all other locations is: $118080 $154980 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits participation in Oscars unlimited vacation program and annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in setting driving and executing the strategy for department specific programs.
  • Identify success criteria and implement operating metrics to measure success; analyze data to own root cause analysis and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Program management of key department and cross functional strategy initiatives.
  • Build operating playbooks and workflows to get the most value out of department initiatives.
  • Development and growth of direct reports (as applicable) ensuring that colleagues are supported in their professional development needs.
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 6 years experience in strategy and operations.
  • 4 years Procedure writing and development experience
  • 4 years project planning and program management experience.

Bonus Points

  • Masters degree.
  • 2 years of Enrollment and Billing experience
  • 6 years experience working in healthcare or insurance industries in a strategy business development or project management role
  • Management Consulting experience.
  • Experience in leading largescale cross functional initiatives.
  • Experience with Excel and financial modeling experience.
