Job Description

Teachers are needed for Randolphs RISE Program. Our RISE program Teachers are responsible for planning organizing and implementing an instructional program for students in a selfcontained classroom that are identified as being on the autism spectrum which affects their learning and ability to achieve their maximum potential. Schedule: June 30July 31; Monday through ThursdayHours: 8:3012:30 PM at JFK Elementary Rate: $42.54/hr PLUS 4 hours per week paid prep timeSecondary 7:45am to 11:45am at Randolph High SchoolStaff day is 7:15am 12:15pmPreKindergarten Teachers The Prekindergarten Teacher is responsible for planning organizing and implementing an instructional program for students ages 3 5 that are identified with developmental delay autism and communication disabilities that affect their learning and to enable them to achieve their maximum Program Teachers A RISE program Teacher is responsible for planning organizing and implementing an instructional program for students in a selfcontained classroom that are identified as being on the autism spectrum which affects their learning and ability to achieve their maximum potential. GROW Program TeachersA GROW program Teacher is responsible for planning organizing and implementing an instructional program for students in a selfcontained classroom that are identified with cognitive and social deficits that affect their learning and to enable them to achieve their maximum potential. TLC Program Teachers Elementary A Therapeutic Learning Center Teacher is responsible for planning organizing and implementing an instructional program for students in a selfcontained classroom that are identified with emotional and behavior problems that affect their learning and to enable them to achieve their maximum potential. LBLD TeacherA LBLD program Teacher is responsible for planning organizing and implementing an instructional program for Learning Center (ILC) Teachers RCMSThe Independent Learning Center Teacher is responsible for planning organizing and implementing an instructional program for students in a selfcontained classroom that are identified with cognitive and social deficits that affect their learning and to enable them to achieve their maximum potential. Independent Learning Center (ILC) Teachers and Post Graduate TeacherThe Independent Learning Center Teacher and the Post Graduate Teacher is responsible for planning organizing and implementing an instructional program for students in a selfcontained classroom that are identified with cognitive and social deficits that affect their learning and to enable them to achieve their maximum potential. Reading Interventionist The Reading Interventionist will deliver reading instruction and provide a safe and positive learning environment. Special Education Teacher The SPED/ELA/Math Teacher is responsible for planning organizing and implementing an instructional program for students for walkin services that are identified with varying deficits that affect their learning and to enable them to achieve their maximum potential. Duties/Responsibilities for all teaching positions:ESY Meeting of staff will be held virtually sometime in June (date TBD)Develop weekly lesson plans that contain all of the required components. Deliver instruction utilizing appropriate resources equipment materials technology and instructional differentiated instruction based on the students individual level of functioning and preferred learning modalities. Provide a positive role model of appropriate and respectful interactions with students and staff. Develop teach and review clear and concise classroom rules routines procedures and expectations. Develop a daily/weekly schedule of instruction. Maintain constant and ongoing communication regarding students and all facets of the program. Follow the appropriate chain of command when questions issues and/or concerns arise. Accurately complete all required paperwork within the designated timelines which includes completing progress relevant duties as assignedCompensation:Workshop Rate ($40 per hour)Position Qualifications:Preferred: Massachusetts teacher license in Mild/moderate disabilities for PreK8 or 512 experience working with students in the identified programs and identified subject areasPreferred: Crisis Prevention Intervention Certification (CPI) Safety Care Trained familiarity with and/or experience working with diverse populations in a school setting.
