Job Description
The WWDE CAD team is seeking a CAD Engineer to complement our team. This individual will be responsible for creating both detailed and highlevel drawings of warehouse design material handling equipment work areas and fulfillment center storage solutions based on current templates as well as design support for future templates. Drawings will require a high level of detail in both plan views as well as corresponding elevation views.
In this role you will:
Work with ambiguous direction to create deliverables that standardize work spaces and designs across a large network of fulfillment operations
Innovate with complex automated material handling equipment packaging technologies and systems including robotics and mechatronics across 100 new fulfillment and logistics centers that are being built each year.
Collaboration with internal teams to generate highquality costeffective solutions in very short periods of time.
Manage multiple projects and tasks

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other STEM field or 5 years Amazon experience
2 years in Design/Innovation Engineering Manufacturing/Process/Industrial Engineering or related experience
Experience must involve working with engineering design projects involving Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
3 years of AutoCAD experience
Experience working or interacting with Autodesk Revit
Ability to create visualizations utilizing software (PowerPoint Snagit etc.) for design presentations
4 years experience in a fastpaced design environment utilizing both AutoCAD and Revit
Familiarity with 3D solid modeling software
Familiarity with online file document management systems such as BIM360 and ACC
Ability to establish priorities work independently or within a group and work with minimal supervision
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with ambiguous direction
Excellent communication documentation presentation and interpersonal skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $89400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
