Business Continuity Analyst Global Crisis Management (GCM) Team

SS&C Global Crisis Management (GCM) team demonstrates SS&Cs commitment to operational resilience ensuring that SS&C can continue to serve its clients effectively even in the face of unforeseen challenges. The GCM program is based on top industry standards and best practices and is fully certified to the ISO22301 International Business continuity Standard.
As a Business Continuity Analyst you are responsible for developing implementing and maintaining effective business continuity plans to ensure the organizations resilience during disruptions. This role involves conducting risk assessments performing business impact analyses and coordinating recovery strategies to safeguard the companys assets reputation and operational capabilities.

What You Will Get to Do:
Develop and maintain plans: Create and update comprehensive plans and disaster recovery strategies.
Collaboration: Work with various departments to ensure continuity plans are aligned with evolving risks and business needs.
Incident Management: Assist in managing recovery during a disaster or incident ensuring minimal downtime and impact.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of continuity plans testing results and recovery procedures.
Training: Provide training and support to staff on business continuity practices and procedures.
Compliance: Ensure all continuity plans comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Documentation: Contribute to developing evaluating and improving various documentation specific to crisis management emergency preparedness and business continuity.
Certification: Support the ISO 22301 certification for the company.
Communication: Support effective and timely communication during crisis response situations.
Audits: Participates in audits and regulatory reviews that are conducted within the assigned support areas.
What You Will Bring:
Functional understanding and practical knowledge of business continuity crisis management disaster recovery emergency preparedness preferred.
Relationship management skills to foster success when collaborating with individuals or departments regarding business continuity plans.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong facility with Microsoft Office applications:Outlook Word Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent organizational and timemanagement abilities.
Ability to work independently and within a team collaboratively.
Bachelors degree or comparable number of years of equivalent workrelated experience.
Professional work experience of onethree years in business continuity disaster recovery emergency preparedness crisis management preferred. Also acceptable would be general corporate work experience in any setting e.g. audit administrative corporate support business analyst etc.
