Job Description:
L3Harris Technologies is looking for a dedicated Project Manager to join our MPES Services team in Panama City FL. The project manager will participate in the conceptual development of a project and oversee its organization scheduling and implementation.
Essential Functions:
- Plans directs coordinates and budgets materials and manhours for shipyard project.
- Communicates with supervisors on personnel requirements concerning the alteration repair or maintenance of ships and ships systems.
- Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
- Manager shipyard new construction or ship repair.
- Work with corporate finance government contracts material procurement customer relations in conjunction with project management.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must have five (5) years supervisory experience with electrical structural or mechanical Navy shipboard repair modernization and maintenance projects.
- Knowledge of the NAVSEA Standard Items complex blueprints drawings and contractual requirements.
- Familiar with standard practices processes and materials necessary to perform ship repair modernization and maintenance activities.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings specifications technical manuals design notices etc.
- Familiarity with the Deltek/ Costpoint system and other Microsoft computer programs.
- Must have experience with Microsoft Excell Word PowerPoint and Project.
