Job Description

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate degree
  • Four (4) years of related work experience

Working Hours:Regular work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Evening and weekend hours may be required as needed especially during special events.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative support for College Counsel in managing the agreements/contracts process which includes logging in contracts routing for review/approval assisting with contract revisions or creation and preparing for submission to the District Board of Trustees.
  • Provides support for the Office of the President which includes assisting with office operations answering calls referring callers/visitors to appropriate staff/departments and greeting those entering the office.
  • Completes departmental and college forms prepares correspondence reports memos schedules manuals documents requisitions and related paperwork. Completes and submits purchase requisitions for supplies and materials; assists with accountability of purchases.
  • Compiles information and data for periodic and special reports; performs research and retrieval of records; conducts statistical comparisons of information; sets up and maintains record system for area of responsibility.
  • Assists with maintaining budget information for legal department; assists with annual budget preparation.
  • Attends departmental staff and other professional meetings as requested to gather information or take minutes.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

  • Possess strong computer skills in Adobe Acrobat Word and Excel.
  • Possess the ability to multitask utilize time management and be well organized.
  • Be creative and have the ability to work independently on many projects.
  • Communicate well both verbally and in writing.
  • Skilled in customer service scheduling record keeping and communication.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems such as PeopleSoft is a plus.
