About the Role:
The role: DataEngineer
Data Engineer Position Profile: Osttras AI & Analytics team is seeking a highly skilledDataEngineerwith 35 years of experience to join our growing team in Stockholm Sweden. You will play a critical role in building and maintaining ourdataplatform in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) which supports a wide range of AI and BI initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding ofdataengineeringprinciples and handson experience with GCP and Python.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain scalabledatapipelines using GCP services (BigQuery Cloud Run Google Cloud Storage etc.)
- Collaborate withAI engineers and data analysts to understanddatarequirements and deliver highqualitydatasolutions
- Implementdataquality checks and monitoring to ensuredataaccuracy and reliability
- Optimisedataprocessing for efficiency and costeffectiveness
- Contribute to the development of our overalldataarchitecture and strategy
- Design and implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform
What Were Looking For:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer ScienceEngineering or a related field
- 35 years of experience indataengineering with a focus on GCP
- Experience with IaC and provisioning of infrastructure as code in a cloud environment.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience withdatamodelling Container platforms ETL/ELT processes anddatawarehousing
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and workflows is a plus
- Excellent communication and problemsolving skills
- Proficient in using version control systems (e.g. Git) CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks
- Demonstrated interest or experience in financial markets
