Were looking for a driven and curious Data Analyst to join our Purchasing Development & Digitalization team at NCC! In this role youll transform data into actionable insights that directly impact project success supplier performance and strategic direction.

The role and key responsibilities 

In this role you contribute directly to our mission of paving the way for businessleading purchasing capabilities. Through your ability to turn data into actionable insights you empower our purchasing network to make smarter faster and more strategic decisions. Your expertise in Power BI helps define and drive future best practices while your collaborative mindset supports a culture of continuous improvement transparency and innovation across the organization.

As a Data Analyst you will: 

  • Build reporting solutions: Create compelling visualizations and reports that communicate complex data in a clear and engaging manner with actionable insights in mind
  • Develop scalable BI structures:  Contribute to building and refining processes and structuresparticularly around Power BI and Fabricto support scalable efficient and robust selfservice BI across the organization
  • Empower Teams: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to foster a datainformed culture providing training and support in Power BI to enhance their analytical skills
  • Advanced Data Analysis: Utilize advanced analytics techniques and data modelling to extract meaningful insights from our data and contribute to datainformed decisionmaking. 

 

About Purchasing at NCC 

NCC Purchasing is a network of professionals across the Nordics. We handle everything from project purchasing and supplier base development to strategic sourcing and category management. Collaboration between our teams is key to delivering successful customer projects. You will join the Purchasing Development & Digitalization unit which focuses on creating industryleading purchasing capabilities. 


Qualifications :

 

Your experience and background

Education

  • Degree in Business Analytics Information Systems Industrial Engineering Economics or Business Administration with a strong analytical component.
  • Additional training or certification in Power BI data visualization or data literacy is a strong plus.

 

Experience

  • Proven experience in Power BI development including both frontend visualizations and data modeling (semantic models)
  • Track record of turning data into actionable insights that support business decisions
  • Experience working in crossfunctional teams with diverse stakeholders
  • Experience supporting others in data literacy and analytics through training guidance or collaboration
  • Experience working with AIsupported tools or lowcode/nocode platforms (e.g. Power Platform Microsoft Fabric or similar) to automate workflows or scale analytics solutions
  • Familiarity with procurement KPIs and value delivery through data is a plus
  • Background in the construction industry and/or procurement is a plus
  • Language skills: You are fluent in one of the Nordic languages and in English.

Additional information

You will be based at one of NCCs major offices in the Nordics. Frequent travel is required. However we do apply a flexible way of working and strive to collaborate digitally as much as possible. In accordance with NCC:s safety culture we conduct background checks on final candidates.
