Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager specialising in Data Migrations to join our dynamic team in Nieuwegein Netherlands. In this crucial role you will be responsible for overseeing complex data migration projects ensuring seamless transitions between systems while maintaining data integrity and security.
- Lead and manage endtoend data migration projects from planning to execution and postimplementation support
- Develop comprehensive project plans including timelines resource allocation and risk mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify data migration requirements and develop appropriate solutions
- Oversee the design testing and implementation of data migration processes and tools
- Ensure data quality integrity and security throughout the migration process
- Monitor project progress manage risks and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
- Conduct postmigration audits and prepare detailed reports on project outcomes
- Stay uptodate with the latest data migration technologies and best practices
- Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations including GDPR
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in project management with a focus on data migration projects
- Proven track record of successfully delivering largescale data transfer projects
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile Waterfall)
- Proficiency in data migration tools and techniques
- Excellent understanding of database management systems and data structures
- Experience with risk management stakeholder management and resource allocation
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Exceptional organisational and time management abilities
- Proficient in MS Office suite particularly Excel and Project
- Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations including GDPR
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred)
- PRINCE2 certification (preferred)
- Fluency in English; Dutch language skills are advantageous
