JOB PURPOSE: The ISC CBIA Team is looking for a Business Analytics Lead who would be responsible for establishing a robust analytics capability & executing a comprehensive analytics strategy that drives datadriven decisionmaking and strategic planning for ISC BU aligned with business objectives
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Establish Analytics Framework:
o Develop and implement a comprehensive analytics strategy aligned with business goals.
o Design and set up data infrastructure including data warehouses and data lakes.
o Defining companywide metrics and relevant data sources to translate raw data into valuable business insights
2. Data Governance and Management:
o Establish data governance policies to ensure data quality security and compliance.
o Oversee data collection storage and retrieval processes.
3. Business Analytics and Insights:
o Support the monthly reporting cycle to senior stakeholders
o Category & brand growth & market share forecasting
o Answer adhoc business questions using the best possible datasets available (POS data Panel Data external sources)
o Understand the Business Opportunities and Challenges and draw detailed analysis and insights to provide the story to aid business objectives
o Provides guidance to the business to holistically optimize investments (media pricing
o Helps the category teams understanding the health of the business separating short term and longterm trends/effects
4. Advanced Analytics and Insights:
o Marketing Mix Modeling: This involves calculating the ROI of advertisement spend across various channels like television print and web. It helps understand consumer behaviour with regard to exposure to advertising
o Pricing analytics to optimize pricing and maximize profitability.
o Consumer Insights and Segmentation: focus on understanding consumer behaviour preferences and trends.
o Demand Forecasting: Advanced analytics can be used to predict future demand for products based on historical sales data market trends and other factors. This helps in optimizing inventory levels and reducing stockouts or overstock situations
o Customer Journey Analysis: Understanding the path to purchase on Ecommerce & Quick commerce platforms to map out the customer journey and identify key touchpoints and pain points
o Product Launch Benchmarking and Cannibalization: Product Performance Analysis to identify factors critical to new product success
o Media Effectiveness Analysis: Evaluating the effectiveness of different media channels in driving sales and brand awareness analysing data from digital and traditional media campaigns to determine the ROI and optimize media spends
5. Project Management:
o Lead analytics projects from inception to completion ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
o Manage project budgets and resources effectively.
6. Market and Competitor Analysis:
o Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in the CPG & CH sector.
o Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
7. Stakeholder Communication:
o Communicate findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
o Conduct regular project reviews and generate detailed reports.

Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
10 15 Years of experience
Bachelors and Masters Degree in Statistics Computer Science Economics Engineering Business Mathematics Education Finance Science MBA
Proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL Python R Advanced Excel)
Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau Power BI) and knowledge of data warehousing.
Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics it would be a plus:
Great understanding of the business drivers and drainers a good understanding of the consumer/customer dynamics as well as the KPI commonly used in the industry to assess performances.
Strong problemsolving skills almost a mathematical approach to problem solving.
Strong communication and good storytelling skills
