Job Description
The Technician for ASRS will be responsible for maintaining troubleshooting and ensuring the smooth operation of the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) for Raw Materials (RM) and Finished Goods (FG) Dispatch and Receipt areas. This role includes regular system checks preventive maintenance and resolving any mechanical or softwarerelated issues to ensure efficient material handling and storage.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on ASRS equipment in both RM and FG areas.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical electrical or systemrelated issues with ASRS machinery.
Coordinate with the production and logistics teams to ensure seamless material flow during receipt and dispatch operations.
Monitor and control the ASRS system for proper functionality ensuring high levels of accuracy and efficiency in material storage and retrieval.
Perform calibration and adjustments to ASRS systems to ensure optimal performance.
Document maintenance activities including any issues repairs and system adjustments.
Assist in the implementation of system upgrades and enhancements as required.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper handling of materials within the ASRS area.
Provide training and support to other team members on ASRS operations and troubleshooting techniques.
