The Community You Will Join:

The Airbnb Communications team delivers campaigns that keep Airbnb front of mind helping to stimulate wordofmouth and supporting direct traffic to the site. Were seeking a creative organized passionate and versatile leader to support a global Communications team that is developing compelling yearround campaigns to insert Airbnb into a wide range of pop culture conversations.

The difference you will make:

This is a brandnew role designed to shape and scale Airbnbs influencer strategy across EMEA. Youll work directly with the EMEA Communications Director and closely with our new Global Director of Influencer to build a bestinclass influencer program that brings Airbnbs brand to life through inspiring authentic storytelling.

As Lead Influencer EMEA youll be responsible for crafting a regional influencer strategy that aligns with global priorities while championing local goals. Youll design and execute highimpact campaigns that drive discovery elevate brand consideration and foster genuine advocacy spanning platforms like TikTok Instagram and YouTube. Your work will span both consumer inspiration and brand reputation whether thats highlighting lesserknown travel destinations or shaping conversations around housing and trust.

A typical day:

  • Lead the development and implementation of a regional advanced social influencer strategy collaborating with crossfunctional teams and partners to establish ambitious goals and define influencer roles
  • Work with country teams to cultivate and manage relationships with socialfirst content creators and influencers.
  • Oversee external agencies to foster an environment that inspires and facilitates authentic storytelling.
  • Conduct comprehensive research on influencer insights delving into target audience behaviors and preferences and staying abreast of emerging trends to inform influencer selection and content strategies.
  • Play a pivotal role in identifying trends opportunities and social conversations leveraging insights to execute timely strategies.
  • Implement a sophisticated approach to monitoring tracking managing and analyzing influencer campaigns utilizing advanced analytics tools such as CreatorIQ and Sprinklr.
  • Provide expert consultation on local influencer strategies offering best practices and ensuring alignment with global strategies and campaigns.
  • Stay ahead of industry advancements and integrate innovative technologies and tools into influencer management processes enhancing efficiency effectiveness and the overall impact of influencer campaigns.
  • Establish the brand and the influencer management team as thought leaders in the industry.
  • Foster strategic partnerships and collaborations with key players in the influencer marketing ecosystem that elevate the brands influencer program to new heights.

Your expertise:

  • Extensive experience in influencer work
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Deep knowledge and expertise in building and executing influencer strategies across Instagram TikTok and YouTube
  • Knowhow in creating influencer strategies focusing on brand reputation
  • Comfortable with working across different countries and cultures
  • Experience with working across different European markets and an understanding of the regional influencer landscape (Italy Germany UK France Spain)
  • Proven experience in building and managing networks of agency partners across countries
  • Proven body of work and direct 1:1 experience working with influencers including passionbased and tech/ product for largescale and bespoke brand collaborations
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with and managing multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A passion for pop culture and trends
  • Working knowledge and familiarity with social listening and influencer management tools i.e. Sprinklr CreatorIQ
