Finance Manager OPEX UK
Leeds / Hybrid 3 days per week from the office (LS15 8ZB)
About the role
We are looking for an experienced highly organised and motivated Finance Manager to support the Senior Finance Manager and manage the efficient running of our UK Opex team. You will be working in a fastpaced ambitious team with a real focus on continuous improvement. The role will help to provide insight into business performance and assist stakeholders with decision is a great opportunity in an established and successful business with ambitious plans for further growth.
- Managing the month end close for UK Opex ensuring all deadlines are met
- Detailed review of nominal analysis files to ensure accuracy & compliance with accounting standards
- Management/coaching of a team of 3 Management Accountants
- Partner with various stakeholders to generate actionable insights & drive continuous process improvements while ensuring adherence to SOX compliance
- Responsibility for Balance sheet reconciliation/review
- Producing variance analysis
- Fulfilling monthly and quarterly internal reporting requirements
Experience & Skills youll bring
- Highly numerate with strong analytical ability
- Resourceful well organized highly dependable efficient and detail oriented
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with both financial and nonfinancial management
- Methodical and diligent with a willingness to work toward and manage tight deadlines.
- Have a cando attitude and work well within a team
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a finance role
- Qualified in either ACCA/CIMA
- Strong excel skills
