DescriptionWe are currently recruiting an Asbestos Officer to join our growing team providing expertise on all aspects of asbestos surveying.

Duties include:
- Provide technical expertise on all aspects of asbestos surveying and achieve high quality standards in building works and associated services.
- Prepare asbestos reports for surveyed properties undertaking the preparatory planning and monitoring work necessary to meet the requirements of each project or scheme.
- Carry out management refurbishment / demolition and reinspection asbestos surveys to Incommunities Domestic & NonDomestic properties.
- Deliver all operational aspects of your relevant service/business area.
- Provide asbestos expertise to planned maintenance projects refurbishment projects communal areas and general property stock surveying.
- Work collaboratively with the asbestos contract manager and the asbestos team to monitor analyse and deliver improvements across all relevant performance indicator areas in order to increase customer satisfaction.
- Prepare professional and clearly written communications to colleagues partners and customers.
- Participate in team service reviews and service planning as required and ensure any arising actions are implemented.
- Contribute to the development of policies and processes across the organisation to ensure that high quality consistent services are delivered.
- Undertake regular site visits issuing progress reports and resolving any issues that have arisen.
Requirements - P402 (or equivalent) qualification is essential
- Desirable qualifications are P401P403 P404 P405 CCP
- Minimum 2 years asbestos surveying site experience
- Experience or knowledge of methodical surveying techniques to a variety of different architypes.
- Good knowledge of removal techniques / analytical processes
- The ability to prepare and write asbestos reports review contractor RAMS & undertake audits of surveys analytical and removal works.
- Have the ability to plan and coordinate asbestos removal works
- Good knowledge of regulations in particular the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015
- Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Full driving licence own vehicle and business insurance as you will be expected to use your own vehicle for work purposes
A basic DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check will be required for the successful candidate as part of the preemployment process Criminal Conviction Checks
