The People Operations team is responsible for the entire lifecycle of the employee journey at Preply including onboarding total rewards benefits HR systems and people analytics. Theyre also responsible for driving strategic People projects such as employee engagement career development and frameworks and among others.
This role will be based in Barcelona and we will support you with a full relocation package.
What youll be doing:
- Youll beowning a major scope within our global businessand reporting to the Senior Director of People Operations Systems & Total Rewards.
- Head a diverse People Operations Team currently 4 team members continuously coaching and developing this highperforming team distributed around the globe.
- Define our global people operations strategy and manage the day to day operational processes and activities.
- Collaborate with all People Teams (People Partners Talent Acquisition Mobility) and business stakeholders on all People Operational matters across the employee lifecycle.
- Improve and optimize our operational excellence and efficiency including reviewing core HR systems.
- Ensure our global entities are compliant with local legislation on the ground.
- Identify opportunities to design new processes and improve the way we do things shaping the powerful moments along the employee journey.
- Be the key point of contact for global operational topics as we continue to grow and hire worldwide.
- Handle any employment relations matters professionally swiftly and in strong collaboration with our legal and People partners.
What you need to succeed:
- You are an operations expert and have 7 years of international experience in People Operations or HR services.
- You have a strong knowledge of labor laws regulations and best practice HR policies with global exposure preferred e.g. in USA or across Europe.
- You love systems of any kind with some exposure or understanding of HR systems.
- You have excellent project management skills and are able to optimize processes constantly.
- You have the ability to lead and inspire your team through multiple challenges.
- You have high levels of empathy and ability to create trust and engagement with stakeholders in and outside of HR.
- You are a creative problem solver that is able to handle large amounts of data and structure it into a meaningful analysis.
- You are fluent in English (Spanish is a bonus).
