The Role
As a Senior Planner youll be the mastermind behind keeping complex multipartner wastewater projects on track and running smoothly. Your expertise in planning and programme controls will provide clear timely insights that enable rapid decisions helping the team tackle challenges before they arise and ensuring projects deliver on time on budget and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed Project Lifecycle Schedules aligned with our Management Plan.
Integrate and monitor delivery schedules from multiple partners identifying risks and opportunities early.
Take charge of the critical path prioritising activities that keep the entire programme moving forward.
Assess impacts of changes and manage time risk allowances to keep projects on track.
Support quantitative schedule risk analysis and manage earned value reporting.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide early warnings on potential issues.
Collaborate with Capital Delivery Partners and internal teams to align schedule cost and objectives.
Ensure strict data integrity and compliance with processes and work instructions.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives with senior leaders and the PMO team.
About You
Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
Solid background in Programme Controls Planning or Programme Optimisation ideally within utilities or water/wastewater sectors.
Recognised project management or project controls qualification.
Deep knowledge of design/build methods and integrated project planning.
Expert user of Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software.
Strong communicator and collaborator who can constructively challenge and build effective relationships.
Detailoriented with the ability to dive deep into complex plans and creatively solve problems.
Comfortable presenting insights clearly and confidently to senior management.
