Job Description
The Peace River School Division is seeking applications for aFullTime (1.00 f.t.e.) Senior High Math Teacher for Manning Aurora Composite School.This position is to commence on August 27 2025. The initial teaching assignment will include teaching junior/senior high mathematics and other option courses.
This position will remain open until a suitable candidate is secured. The Peace River School Division thanks all applicants for their interest in working with our division only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
Manning Aurora Composite School is a K12 school with approximately 275 students. The school is located in the Town of Manning Alberta approximatly 200 km north of Grande Prairie. To see more of what this quant village offers visit the Town of Manning website.
Qualifications:
- Experience and/or training in teaching junior and senior level grades.
- Excellent communications skills with students staff and parents.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and educational assistants to ensure student success.
- Proven ability to differentiate lessons to support students achievement.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- A keen understanding of assessment practices.
- The ability to use technology to support learning in the classroom.
Requirements:
- Must hold or be eligible for a validAlberta Teaching Certificate.
- Provide a current Vulnerable Sector Check dated within six (6) months of your application.

This teaching position falls under the collective agreement between the Alberta Teachers Association and the Peace River School Division.
Annual Salary Range: $ 62 702 to $ 105 996 (dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the Alberta Teachers Association and the Peace River School Division).
