Contractually Limited Term Laboratory Instructor

Position Description
The Biology Department invites applications for a part time (20 hours per week) Laboratory Instructor. The term of the appointment is from August 11 2025 to May 15 2026. The position is subject to final budgetary approval.
Minimum qualifications are a . in Biology or related field. Experience in instructing undergraduate laboratories is desirable and higher education or equivalent work experience would be an asset.
The successful candidate will undertake laboratory instruction and associated tasks for the undergraduate courses Human Kinetics 161 and 162 Applied Human Anatomy and Applied Human Physiology required for all BA and BSc students majoring in Human Kinetics and all BSc students majoring in Nursing or for Biology 251 and 252 Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II taken by students in the BASc Health program and in various BSc programs including Human Nutrition. The Department is seeking candidates who are committed to contributing to StFXs priorities of equity diversity and inclusion. Demonstrated ability in fostering a climate of inclusion in the classroom and attracting underrepresented groups of students to the program is an asset.
