0.47FTE Temporary Indigenous Instructional Coach Teacher

The successful candidate will be a highly effective teacher with a passion for lifelong learning and collaborating with peers. The candidate will demonstrate sound planning instruction assessment and intervention practices and have a strong understanding of Indigenous Ways of Knowing and creating curricular activities with Indigenous content and use relevant learning technologies to help promote studentcentered learning. The ability to quickly establish rapport and relationships with others is essential. An aptitude for working with colleagues from Grades K through grade 12 is paramount.

Reporting to the Associate Superintendent of Human Services the temporary Indigenous Instructional Coach position has a coordinator allowance as per the collective agreement. The successful candidate will have these key responsibilities:

Supporting indigenous families with positive connection with their school.

Supporting classroom teachers with creating indigenous content that aligns with curriculum and TQS 5.

This temporary position will commence on August 18th 2025 and will conclude on October 31st 2025 or upon the return of the incumbent.
