NGH is recruiting for aSenior Environmental Plannerthat will lead project delivery and provides senior guidance on environmental planning strategies ensuring projects are completed within time and budget constraints while maintaining highquality standards. The role emphasizes leadership client management and the continuous improvement of team performance productivity and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the Planning team to optimise and improve the delivery of planning services
- Review and support the preparation of a variety of environmental planning reports particularly Review of Environmental Factors and Environmental Impact Statements
- Provide effective and responsive planning advice to the NGH staff clients and stakeholders
- Lead environmental planning projects
- Lead client agency and stakeholder liaison
- Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Mentor environmental planning staff
- Participate and input into the tender and proposal process
- Review subconsultant specialist reports and liaise with specialist on technical aspects as required
Qualifications skills experience & competencies
- Tertiary education in related discipline
- Outstanding communication skills
- Client relationship management
- Leadership/coaching and mentoring
- Excellent understanding of QA
