The Location Bribie Cove is a 90 Bed Aged Care Home located on Bribie Island. We have a great team culture and offer a professional and fun working environment.
About the Role: AS a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) you will provide assistance to our residents ensuring they are supported with services and activities that are centred around their wellbeing independence interests and choices. These include:
- Assistance with their mobility and communication needs.
- Assistance with their meals.
- Engaging in social activities.
- Assistance with their personal care needs
To be successful in this role we require you to have the following skills experience & attributes
- Experience in aged care role will be highly regarded
- Understanding of personcentred care
- Strong clear verbal and written English skills
- Willingness to take direction and follow instructions and to take feedback in a positive non personal way.
- A Confident friendly and professional approach to team and residents
Mandatory for compliance
Certificate III in Individual Support Disability Aged Care or Home and Community/ must include Completion of CHCCS011 Meet Personal Support Needs module as part of one of the abovementioned qualifications.
- Valid working rights in Australia (Passport Birth Certificate etc)
- Be willing to obtain a National Police Check
- Current Flu vaccinations (or willingness to obtain)
- Evidence of Covid19 vaccinations in line with current requirements.
