Job Description
The Mount Abraham Unified School District (MAUSD) is committed to strengthening its comprehensive system of support and is seeking experienced and dynamic educators to join our instructional support team as Instructional Math Coaches. We are hiring two individuals with expertise in Mathematics who will support teachers across our PK12 district. Candidates with elementary middle and/or high school teaching experience are encouraged to apply. Located in the scenic Champlain Valley between Burlington and Middlebury MAUSD is a rural district serving approximately 1200 students from PK through grade SummaryThe ideal candidates will be instructional leaders with a strong background in mathematics instruction and a proven ability to work collaboratively with educators to enhance instructional practices. The Math Coaches will support the implementation of best practices in math content and skill development differentiation and datainformed instruction in a proficiencybased learning candidates will demonstrate the ability to: Coach both mathematics teachers and educators in other content areas to support the integration of math and critical thinking skills. Facilitate curriculum alignment instructional improvement intervention strategies and assessment development within a multitiered system of support (MTSS). Collaborate with the Instructional Coordinator other coaches and interventionists to ensure consistency and effectiveness across the district.
