QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING:
- Bachelors Degree
- Experience working with budgets
- Administrative or supervisory experience in accordance with state law and State Board Rules and Regulations based on the minimum of a Bachelors Degree
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with
provisions of the Boards policy on evaluation of personnel.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Use federal funding opportunities to the greatest benefit for the systems educational programs facilities and personnel.
- Assume responsibility for writing all proposals and filing all applications.
- Evaluate the federally funded project(s) and others if needed.
- Prepare project updates amendments and addendums and submit them to the proper agencies.
- Assist in securing bids when needed.
- Monitor and keep close contact with those who are involved in Title I IIA III VI and V.
- Cooperate with community agencies that are involved in the programs.
- Help plan and assist in methods of involving parents.
- Coordinate requirements for and of the applicable federal programs; and prepare for the monitoring process.
- Conduct annual surveys to determine the needs of Title I parents.
- Assess parent involvement activities on an ongoing basis.
- Develop and implement procedures to coordinate home/school activities to include: a. Developing a Title I newsletter; b. Assisting in the development of a Title I handbook and c. Developing parenttraining materials.
- Write grants and supervise grants
- Mange all federal funds.
- Assist in budgeting
- Perform additional jobrelated responsibilities as assigned by the building principal and/or superintendent
