Job Description
At the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our Colleagues guests and visitors is an integral part of our operations. As an Overnight Security Officer Supervisor your attentiveness efficiency and commitment will ensure your hotel remains a safe enjoyable workplace and travel destination.
- Ensuring all tasks and patrols are completed and followups are conducted
- Ensuring security and safety of all property guests and employees
- Regular floor patrols cash counts and crowd control
- Assisting in providing excellent guest service
- Assisting in the orientation of new staff to hotels security procedures
- Conducting security assessments to determine if hotel guests employees and assets are properly protected.
- Correcting and reporting of fire hazards health and safety hazards.
- Operating as a member of the Emergency Response Team
- Report and investigate occurrences of accidents complaints criminal activity and crisis situations.
- Respond to all alarms perimeter door local and holdup
- Handle lost and found in conjunction with the Housekeeping Department
- Knowledge and application Municipal Provincial and Federal statues with attention to the Trespass to Property Act.
- Key control involving departmental audits and maintenance to key records.
- Maintain computer records of all actions in a Daily Activity Report.
- Report all violations of Tenant Agreements
- Other duties as directed by the Director Security Services
Qualifications :
- 1 year experience in a Security Supervisor role required
- Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
- Certification in CPR First Aid required
- University/College degree in a related discipline preferred
- Must possess a professional presentation
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Adhere to Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Grooming Guidelines
