The Strategic Marketing Consultant will lead engagements with client organizations focused on generating positive Marketing ROI improving customer and marketing facing stimuli and leveraging data and analytic assets. This role serves two primary constituencies: 1) client organizations with unmet strategy development needs and 2) RRD sales and client management groups whose longterm positioning depends on deepening the strategic nature of client relationships. This role will have a broad scope of responsibility including formulating and presenting strategic advice to clients coordinating internal resources required to deliver consulting work product leading internal teams in account planning exercises and developing repeatable consulting solutions that can be delivered by RRD teams.
Primary Responsibilities
Design manage and deliver strategic marketing consulting engagements
Advise clients on media performance and optimization strategies
Develop internal teams ability to adopt new strategic capabilities and mindset
Serve as an Executive Sponsor for multiple client relationships
Strengthen and grow existing client relationships
Support key new business development efforts lead some sales opportunities in partnership with sales leaders
Identify growth opportunities within existing clients
Travel as necessary

Qualifications :
10 years of marketing strategy experience and large client relationship management
Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline required. MBA or similar graduate degree preferred
Deep expertise with all aspects of Marketing including strategic planning data analytics data management marketing technology designed testing media optimization value proposition ideation etc.
Experience with cultivating and maintaining client executive relationships
Expert level understanding of multichannel media optimization
Familiarity with analytic methodologies and Data Science practices and their role in shaping marketing strategy
Familiarity with 1st 2nd and 3rd party data assets and their respective role in driving marketing performance
Strong understanding of marketing database strategies and applications coupled with an ability to draw actionable insights from marketing data for client benefit
Familiarity with Market Research techniques and strategies
Very strong written communication skills. Experience with direct client contact and effective presentations
Ability to interpret analytic findings and present them to nontechnical audiences for the purpose of driving marketing and customer treatment strategies
Additional Information :
RRDs current salary range for this role is $141000 to $225600 / year. The salary range may be adjusted
based on the applicable geographic location of the hired employee and the range may change in the
future. At RRD it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and
compensation decisions may vary based upon but not limited to education skills experience proficiency
performance shift and location. Depending on the role in addition to base salary the total compensation
package may also include participation in a bonus commission or incentive program. RRDs benefit
