Job Description
The Production OperatorTemporary Summer Help is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door and begin growing your career in the glass manufacturing industry. This role will learn many different aspects of our business to provide value where needed.
The Production OperatorTemporary Summer Help should have:
- Mechanical aptitude
- Be highly safety conscious
- A desire to learn and grow within our industry
The Production OperatorTemporary Summer Help will:
- Understand carton quality requirements and perform checks to ensure those requirements are met
- Attends palletizers supplying pallets and tier sheets
- Operates controls and ensures that tiers are properly formed and transported
- Rotate/transfer among departments as directed
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Previous experience in an industrial environment is a plus
- Must be able to work a 12hour night shift as well as holidays and weekends as required
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs. on a regular basis
