Job Description
Location: Remote / MassachusettsBased HQ (Preferred)
Start Date: Mid2025 (upon EEI award)
Duration: 12months (contract)
Compensation: DARPAfunded stipend
Reports To: CEO MagLev Aero
Works With: Founding team technical leads manufacturing partners and DARPA EEI team
Overview
MagLev Aero is seeking an entrepreneurial missiondriven leader to serve as our Embedded Entrepreneur as part of our participation in DARPAs Embedded Entrepreneur Initiative (EEI). The EEI is inclusive of the DARPA Commercial Accelerator program which provides a Senior Commercial Advisor (SCA) to conduct due diligence and advise MagLev Aero on a parttime basis. The selected candidate will lead MagLev Aeros commercial transition effortsbridging technology market entry and scalable operations. The EE will interact with the Mag Lev Aero team the DARPA Commercial Strategy Team and the DARPA Commercial Accelerator to include the SCA provided.
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute commercialization strategy for defense and commercial markets
- Identify and structure teaming agreements with OEMs integrators and partners
- Establish sales pipeline and customer engagement
- Support fundraising and proposal capture
- Execute EEI milestones in coordination with DARPA
Qualifications :
- 7 years in aerospace unmanned systems or commercialization roles
- Defense or government experience preferred
- Startup and investor engagement experience a plus
- Strong communication and BD skills
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
