Tax Associate/Accountant Job Description
We are seeking a Tax Accountant with at least five years recent tax experience in public accounting. The candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation commensurate with experience and a benefit package available for fulltime employees.
Responsibilities:
Review client provided general ledger and financial statements and prepare journal entries as needed to compile midyear and yearend financial statements for book and tax purposes.
Prepare individual corporate partnership trust and exempt organizations tax returns including some multistate issues.
Consult with clients and provide tax planning.
Develop strong working relationships with clients.
Requirements
Qualifications:
CPA Designation
Bachelor s degree in accounting
Master s degree in taxation a plus but not required
Minimum of 3 years recent public accounting experience
