Job Description
Tennessees #1 Home Improvement Company American Home Design is looking for a Service Manager to oversee all of our services for our home improvement products including baths & showers replacement windows and doors and outdoor living projects. The primary responsibility for this role is ensuring customer satisfaction by managing a team of service technicians and coordinating timely effective service for completed home improvement projects. The secondary responsibility is looking for opportunities to generate additional business from this department and your team. The ideal candidate has a customer service background with management and scheduling/routing experience. We are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator professional organized and enjoys winning over an unhappy customer.
Scope of Responsibility:
The Service Manager role requires a high level of customer service attention to detail and problemsolving ability. Responsibilities include:
- Handling customer concerns and service requests with professionalism and urgency
- Scheduling services for approximately 7 technicians throughout the Middle & East TN area
- Coordinating with installation and production teams to ensure seamless project completion
- Maintaining accurate records of service activity lead times and followups
- Ordering parts and supplies for technicians to be able to complete services
- Troubleshooting product or installation issues and recommending appropriate solutions
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of service operations and customer experience
- Looking for ways to generate additional business from our existing customer base
The Right Candidate Will Have:
- Proven ability to lead coach and support a field team
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Exceptional organizational and problemsolving skills
- Honest dependable and valuesdriven work ethic
- Knowledge of windows baths or general remodeling is a plus
