Job Description
Job Title: Field Supervisor
Location: New York City Metropolitan Area
Work Type: Full Time Employment Opportunities are Available
Pay Rate: Competitive payrate ranging $24.00 $26.00/hour with benefits
Experience: 23 years of security supervisor experience required
Current Shifts Available:
- Morning Times Will Vary & To Be Discussed During Interview
- Afternoon Times Will Vary & To Be Discussed During Interview
- Overnight Times Will Vary & To Be Discussed During Interview
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to JSB client sites by public transportation or your personal car
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with JSB standards
- Provide comprehensive training for new security guards onsite
- Participate in and assist with training classes led by managers
- Conduct security post inspections and regular checkins
- Prepare detailed reports for every site visit
- Observe document and report any potential hazards or issues affecting security guards JSB or our clients
- Respond to onsite incidents and prepare detailed incident and log reports
- Provide onsite coaching and training for guards and security professionals
- Address and correct any inappropriate performance by security guards
- Enforce JSBs policies and procedures by issuing writeups when necessary
- Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times
- Hold post as needed at any site
- Other duties as needed
Requirements:
- 23 years of proven security supervisor experience
- Valid New York State Security Guard License
- Ability to quickly obtain sitespecific certifications including OSHA 10 Hour Construction & Safety Fireguard S60 & S95 TWIC
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
- Flexible work schedule including weekends
- Comfortable working outdoors
- Strong team management skills including scheduling and coverage
- Excellent communication skills to deescalate situations effectively
- Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Command of the English language and ability to communicate clearly
- Proficiency in using smartphones and tablets
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years old (or as per state regulations)
- Authorized to legally work in the United States
- Successful completion of a drug test with negative results
- Pass an extensive background check including criminal history personal references employment and education verification as well as Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
- If prior military must be able to provide a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated upon job offer
