About the Role


Were hiring a Structural Engineer on behalf of our client a wellestablished structural engineering firm with a growing Forensics Practice in California. This role is ideal for a Californialicensed PE with extensive experience in structural design damage assessments and insurancefunded reconstruction projects. Youll play a key role in renovation and repair work on residential and light commercial structures across Southern California.



Key Responsibilities


  • Assess existing structures and create jurisdictioncompliant repair and reconstruction plans
  • Collaborate with contractors adjusters and owners to develop effective solutions
  • Lead fastpaced CD development including structural and basic MEP/architectural coordination
  • Conduct damage assessments and prepare technical reports and justifications
  • Travel to sites and represent the firm with clients partners and stakeholders



What Were Looking For


  • 10 years of structural engineering experience including forensic and renovation projects
  • California Civil PE license required; SE license a plus
  • Strong knowledge of CalGreen Title 24 ADA WUI and California permitting processes
  • Experience managing $500K in annual project revenue
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Revit and BIM platforms
  • Excellent communication technical writing and client relationship skills
