Founded in 2022 Mach Industries is a rapidly growing defense technology company focused on developing nextgeneration autonomous defense platforms. At the core of our mission is the commitment to delivering scalable decentralized defense systems that enhance the strategic capabilities of the United States and its allies. With a workforce of approximately 120 employees we operate with startup agility and ambition.
Our vision is to redefine the future of warfare through cuttingedge manufacturing innovation at speed and unwavering focus on national security. We are dedicated to solving the next generation of warfare with lethal systems that deter kinetic conflict and protect global security.
Mach is seeking a DSP Algorithms Engineer who has had 5 years of design and implementation experience in developing direction finding algorithms. This engineer should have a strong mathematical foundation in signal processing and a strong understanding of the design of embedded systems. This engineer must thrive in a startup company environment with great opportunities for growth and spectacular achievement. As a member of the engineering team you will take a lead role in the development of nextgeneration defense technologies including but not limited to unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) missiles and advanced weapon systems. Youll regularly interact with senior leadership to influence fundamental operation of our platforms while collaborating with electrical software mechanical and manufacturing teams to steer this project from initial conception to manufacturing.
Develop signal processing for next generation Mach vehicles and systems including passive/ active radar targeting systems and direction finding.
Define algorithm blocks and their integration into the larger system
Conduct end to end studies for algorithm development tuning and validation
Prototype the algorithm in MATLAB/Python
Implement the algorithm in C/C to run on device
Experience with radar signal processing including pulse compression processing Doppler processing CFAR detection tracking algorithms digital beamforming and MIMOradar processing
Validate the algorithm/implementation and set up scripts to assist validation
Define validation test plans across the range of possible corner cases.
Root cause and troubleshoot algorithm performance issues across the entire electronics/software stack
Define and document system and component requirements for algorithm performance on prospective platforms incorporating hardware and software dependencies
Work cross functionally with other teams within Mach and drive the timely implementation of dependencies
2 years of experience in embedded C/C programming board bringup profiling optimization simulation and various levels of testing (SW only HW/SW integration etc.)
2 years of experience in MATLAB or Python for scientific/mathematical problem solving as well as testing and data analysis
