Position Overview:
Bland Landscaping is seeking a Senior Business Developer to lead sales and business development efforts for our Landscape Construction / Installation division based in Apex NC with potential to sale in additional BLC service areas and new markets in other states as we grow. This is a fulltime position with a competitive benefits package. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated sales professional with a strong network in the home development industry and the ability to manage their time independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Drive sales of landscape construction and installation services by developing relationships with home builders developers and general contractors.
- Expand our client base by proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Promote Bland Landscaping as the premier provider of highquality landscape installation services for new residential and mixeduse communities.
- Represent the company in industry associations networking events and trade shows to generate new leads and establish brand awareness.
Relationship Building & Client Management:
- Develop longterm mutually beneficial relationships with key stakeholders in homebuilder multifamily industrial commercial office and community development and mixeduse projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution from proposal development to contract fulfillment.
- Provide ongoing client support to foster repeat business and referral
Sales Process & Reporting:
- Utilize Sales CRM and BOSS LM software to manage leads sales pipelines estimates and proposals.
- Maintain uptodate reports on sales activity revenue forecasts and market trends for the executive team.
Strategic Growth & Market Expansion:
- Work with company leadership to identify strategic growth opportunities in new and existing markets.
- Support company branding initiatives including socially responsible marketing efforts and community engagement projects.
- Travel within our service area including day trips and occasional overnight stays to support business development efforts.
