Sanitation Manager

Factorabrand of HelloFresh is seeking a Sanitation Managerto develop implement and continuously improve on sanitation programs policies and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the facility.
You will...
- Develop and implement strategic sanitation programs policies and procedures to ensure that sanitary performance meets Factor standards as well as supports Food Safety requirements and regulatory compliance
- Maintain and write detailed procedures and SOPs for all plant equipment
- Maintain and update master cleaning schedule for plant according to GMP and Factor guidelines
- Manage sanitation chemical supply and inventory
- Build and maintain relationships with hourly associates managers carrier partners vendors and various departments within HelloFresh
- Effectively engage coach motivate and lead the sanitation team for career progression and development
- Participate in audits facility inspections and coordinate preoperational inspection with QA Management
- Develop and implement all sanitation related training for sanitation and plant employees as needed
- Ensure all safety requirements related to sanitation are met including proper chemical storage MSDS PPE and procedures

At a minimum you have...
- Bachelors degree in food science or related business equivalent/24 years of plant quality/food safety/sanitation experience.
- Must have the knowledge and skills required to work in a fast paced and challenging environment
- Excellent communication presentation interpersonal and time management skills
- Must display strong leadership qualities
- Knowledge of the GMP HACCP and Environmental sanitation program is required.
- Experience with third party regulatory agencies such as SQF FDA USDA is preferred
- Understands and can apply basic microbiological principle
