Job Description
Summary:
The Manufacturing Engineer applies knowledge and skills concerned with all primary aircraft systems critical to the performance of the aircraft and flows down contractual requirements to ensure the product conforms to its intended form fit and function. Determines the parts equipment and tools needed to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specifications and plans the utilization of facilities equipment materials and personnel to HCOA approved Operation Procedures Quality Conformance Testing and Technical Data or Directive.
Responsibilities:
- Can independently perform all essential duties and responsibilities listed above
- Produces technical data as necessary to assist with manufacturing including 3D CAD Files Mylars Shop Aides Dimensioned Drawings and any other applicable media.
- Works with production to develop necessary tooling including forms tooling and medium complexity bond fixtures.
- Can independently perform all essential duties and responsibilities listed above.
- Provides training and oversight to Manufacturing Engineers I and II.
- Works directly with external customers when necessary to field technical concerns.
- Works with production to develop necessary tooling from authority datasets including complex contoured drill and bond fixtures.
- Serve as engineering support for investigation of CARs and PQDRs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree (B.A.) in Engineering or equivalent from a college or university
- Manufacturing Data Development (Build Plans & Tool Design)
- CAD (SolidWorks DXF Manipulation)
- Broad knowledge and comprehension of manurfacturing processes technical data and drawings
- Aerospace or defense contract experience (preferred)
Salary:7080k commensurate upon experience and education.
Background and Drug test required.
Job is onsite MondayFriday 7:00am3:30pm

While performing the duties of this job the employee is constantly required to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery including but not limited to telephone mouse and keyboard. The ability to communicate and exchange accurate information so others will understand is required. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and rarely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
