About the Role
Were hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer (PE) on behalf of our client a wellestablished architecture and engineering firm based in Rochester NY. This role is ideal for a licensed PE with strong building systems experience who thrives in design leadership team mentorship and crossfunctional collaboration. Youll contribute to the design of complete electrical systems for new and renovated buildings across diverse industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Design power lighting fire alarm and specialty electrical systems for buildings
- Lead and review the work of junior engineers designers and technicians
- Develop project schedules and assist with team workload planning
- Edit project specifications to align with technical and code requirements
- Deliver highquality work independently with minimal oversight
What Were Looking For
- 6 years of experience designing building electrical systems
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related ABETaccredited field
- FE exam completed; PE license in NYS preferred (or eligible within one year)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit MEP and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of NEC (NFPA 70) circuit theory and power distribution systems
- Valid NYS drivers license and ability to travel within the state as needed
