Job Description
SGI Global is seeking Journeyman Export Compliance Analysts. The position supports the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science & Technology Directorate (S&T) in maintaining compliance with export control regulations (ITAR EAR OFAC).
*Contingent on contract award*
Responsibilities:
- Conduct reviews and assessments of DHSfunded research and technology projects for compliance with export control regulations.
- Perform commodity classification and license application support.
- Maintain documentation in ECG databases.
- Liaise with program managers on compliance status and guidance.
Qualifications
- US Citizen.
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- 3 years of export control experience (ITAR EAR).
- Working knowledge of ECCNs and USML categories.
- Analytical skills and technical writing proficiency.
