Job Description
Job Summary:
DT Professional Services is looking for a Data Specialist to perform work that includes the collection reproduction handling distribution and archival of mission data and documentation. The individual will interface with a variety of personnel at all levels and across various government agencies to manage the timely receipt of mission related data products. You will also be responsible toreceiving verifying and reproducingtest event data items per the established may be required (up to 15%) for data collection. Alternate schedules may be required such as weekends and nights. There is possible overtime required on site to support data management for work groups meetings and test event execution.
Responsibilities:
- Perform work that includes the collection reproduction handling distribution and archival of mission data and documentation
- Will interface with a variety of personnel at all levels and across various departments
- Will manage the timely receipt of mission related data products
- Demonstrate the ability to receive verify and reproduce test event data items per the established plans
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have an active DoD SecretClearance(or the ability to reinstate if active within the past 24 months)
- High School Diploma
- 1 yearsof professional experience in a data management capacity within a data processing work environment
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Operating Systems and Microsoft Office products database entry and computers
- Experience creating and executing data handling plans
- Highly organized with an eye for detail
- Ability to quickly learn technical information
- Good interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of U.S Navy shipboard protocol
- Operating System Windows
The compensation range for this position: $28 $29 an hour.
