Request for Applications for Consultancy Services to Support the Development of an English Language Course
Introduction
World Learning is implementing the English for Specific Purposes in Uzbekistan project which is funded by the U.S Embassy in Tashkent. The project aims to support Uzbekistans development and internationalization by providing quality English language training for up to 500 mining professionals and students of mining science from across the country. The project also aims to increase access to English language curriculum and resources for technical experts and to facilitate networking and knowledge sharing opportunities between current and aspiring mining professionals in Uzbekistan and their international peers to exchange ideas share insights and discuss emerging trends in the field.
World Learning seeks applications from qualified English as a Second Language Curriculum Development Specialists to support this project by assisting with the design of an English language course by developing practice exercises (both online and inperson) to be integrated into established lesson plans. The selected consultant would work under the direction of World Learnings Senior Technical Education Specialist on the deliverables listed below for an estimated total of 12 days during the months of June September 2025. The selected consultant will work remotely and may be based anywhere.
