Hydrogeologist

• Understand the regulatory policies of the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency North Dakota Department of Health and the South Dakota Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources with an emphasis on hazardous/solid waste and groundwater pollutionrelated rules and statutes.
• Experience in managing evaluating and reporting groundwater monitoring data.
• Visit project sites to collect field samples for analysis.
• Perform hydrogeologic assessments for industrial sites water supply projects and other projects where an understanding of the hydrogeology of a site is required.
• Business development through establishing and maintaining client relationships.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Geology or an appropriate scientific discipline meeting the requirements for registration as a Professional Geologist in Minnesota either by testing or reciprocity.
• 2 years of experience in hydrogeology preferred.
• Strong aptitude of mathematics and chemistry to complete statistical and qualitative analysis of groundwater impacts.
• Strong written and communication skills.
• Understanding of glacial geology as it relates to groundwater occurrence and movement and associated hydrogeological processes.
• The ability to organize coordinate and conduct public meetings.
• Valid drivers license and availability for travel.
