At Thule we continue to expand our product portfolio to meet the evolving needs of active families and outdoor enthusiasts around the world. To support this growth and fuel future innovation were strengthening our Concept Development team in Hillerstorp.
If youre an experienced designer who enjoys working handson exploring new ideas and shaping products from the ground up this could be the right role for you. Youll join a creative forwardthinking team that plays a key role in how we define and develop future products.
In the role as Concept Designer youll focus on our Soft Goods category creating earlystage concepts that blend textile and hardgoods design to deliver smart relevant solutions for an active lifestyle. Your work will span through the full concept development cycle: identifying user needs and market insights generating and visualizing ideas building mockups testing and refining prototypes and ultimately presenting complete concept proposals.
Youll be deeply involved in handson product development exploration often working closely with project and product management to align ideas with business opportunities and consumer trends. Youll also contribute to our technology roadmap by researching new materials and production methods that support our ambitions for innovation and sustainability.
This role gives you the opportunity to combine creative problemsolving with technical skill all within a highly collaborative team environment.
To be successful in this role we believe that you have an academic background in product development or design along with extensive experience in concept development. Ideally in consumer products for highvolume production. Youre passionate about developing thoughtful functional designs and are comfortable working in both digital and physical formats.
Your experience includes working with textiles and soft goods as well as hard goods and you enjoy translating ideas into mockups that communicate your vision clearly. You have a strong interest in userdriven innovation and are confident collaborating across teams and disciplines.
Above all youre curious handson and motivated by the challenge of shaping ideas into great product concepts.
