Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef De Partie to join our culinary team at Swissotel Corniche Park Towers Doha Qatar. As a key member of our kitchen staff you will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen ensuring the highest standards of food quality presentation and hygiene are maintained at all times.
- Manage and coordinate activities within your assigned kitchen section (e.g. pastry grill or cold section)
- Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Ensure consistent food quality and portion control
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff in your section
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Assist in menu planning and development of new dishes
- Collaborate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth operations and timely food delivery
- Monitor and manage inventory levels in your section
- Implement and maintain HACCP standards
- Participate in cost control measures and minimize food waste
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff during service
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 23 years of experience as a Chef De Partie or in a similar role preferably in a 4 or 5star hotel
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations food safety and hygiene standards
- Proficiency in various cooking techniques and international cuisines
- Creativity in dish presentation and menu development
- Excellent team leadership and training skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Detailoriented with a focus on quality and consistency
- Flexibility to work in different kitchen sections as needed
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and work in a fastpaced environment
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
