We are looking for a curious and motivated handson Junior Platform Engineer to join us in building a developer platform and improving the developer experience for our R&D teams.
Youll be working alongside experienced engineers to help design and build selfservice solutions for common R&D needs such as CI/CD pipelines Kubernetes AWS cloud infrastructure and observability. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills in platform engineering while contributing to realworld solutions that make life easier for developers.
Youll be involved in shaping shared tooling and workflows learning best practices and helping teams adopt standardised ways of working. While you wont be expected to lead architectural decisions youll have plenty of opportunities to contribute ideas learn from others and make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of shared components and automation that support CI/CD infrastructure as code and observability.
- Help identify common developer needs and assist in building selfservice solutions to address them.
- Support the implementation of standardised workflows and tooling across teams.
- Participate in documentation internal training and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and stakeholders to continuously improve the developer platform.
What are we looking for
- 13 years of relevant experience in software engineering DevOps or platformrelated work.
- Some handson experience with CI/CD tools cloud infrastructure container technologies or observability tooling (e.g. GitHub Actions AWS Kubernetes Dynatrace).
- A solid foundation in software development and scripting.
- A genuine interest in developer experience automation and building tools that help others.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Good English skills both written and spoken.
Bonus points
- Experience contributing to open source projects or demonstration of relevant personal projects.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
- Exposure to secure software development practices or working in a securityconscious environment.
- A pragmatic mindset and a good selection of memes to post on our internal chat channels.
