The Hydrological & Hydraulic Engineer will play a vital role in the analysis design and implementation of water infrastructure projects. This position requires a professional with strong technical expertise in hydrology and hydraulics excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
This position will give you the chance to work on some of the top construction projects in the Philippines (Bulacan Airport DPWH IPIF for Flood management) but also in South East Asia Middle East and Australia/NewZealand. Conduct hydrological and hydraulic analyses to support the design and implementation of water infrastructure projects.
Develop and apply models to simulate water flow flood risks and drainage systems.
Design and evaluate hydraulic structures such as channels culverts and stormwater management systems.
Prepare detailed technical reports including hydrological assessments hydraulic calculations and design specifications ensuring clarity and precision.
Collaborate with project managers civil engineers and other specialists to integrate hydrological and hydraulic considerations into project designs.
Perform site inspections and provide technical guidance during construction to address hydrological and hydraulic challenges.
Utilize hydrological and hydraulic software and tools to support project analyses and design.
Ensure compliance with industry standards regulations and best practices in hydrology and hydraulics.
Participate in project meetings and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
Provide expert advice and solutions to complex hydrological and hydraulic problems encountered during the project lifecycle.
Provide strong support in writing engineering report not only for hydrology / hydraulic but also for geotechnical structural socioenvironmental and economic analysis.
Familiar with EDMS working environment such as ACC and ProjectWise
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Hydrology Hydraulics or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred.
Proven experience in hydrological and hydraulic engineering particularly in water infrastructure projects.
Strong proficiency in hydrological and hydraulic modeling software such as HECRAS InfoDrainage or Infoworks ICM.
Exceptional written and oral English communication skills with the ability to produce highquality reports and effectively coordinate with team members and clients.
Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is an advantage.
Optional : Civil 3D Water Engineering : knowledge on Flood Management infrastructure Drainage infrastructure culverts concrete channels.
